CSP students and their families had a wonderful time at
the Aerospace Picnic at Goddard on October 2, 2005. The picnic was an
organization of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Baltimore
Section. There were a total of 60 participants from CSP at the picnic.
After watching a two-hour tethered model airplane show by the Skylancer's Team,
CSP had the privilege to watch a beautiful model rocket show by the National
Association of Rocketry Headquarters Astro-Modeling Section. Also, some CSP
students and their parents had the opportunity to launch their own rockets
during the open launch session.
